TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

  1. GENERAL

The following terms and conditions are valid between you and Carite A/S and apply to all use of and orders placed on our webshop www.carite.dk, and orders made by telephone or by e-mail. Please note that Carite cannot guarantee that all products presented on the webshop are in stock or are available for purchase. Carite reserves the right to revise the Terms and Conditions at any given time. Please note that the terms and conditions valid for your order are always the terms and conditions that are in effect at the time that you place your order.

 

  1. MY ACCOUNT

When you place an order on www.carite.dk, you can choose to create an account or check out as a guest. If you choose to create an account, we will only store the information that you provide on the order, such as shipping address and billing address, as well as personal information given to us by you, so that it will be possible for us to ship and deliver your order.

When creating the account, you will be able to choose a password with which you can log in and view your order history and track your order. In case, you check out as a guest, you will still be able to track your order by using the tracking provided in your shipping confirmation email. If you would like to delete an account, you can contact hello@carite.dk and we will assist you in doing so. When you create an account with us, you can also choose to store a credit card for a future purchase. All information regarding your stored credit card(s) can be changed and/or deleted, when logging in to your account or by contacting us by email – www.carite.dk.

 

  1. PLACING AN ORDER

By using the webshop and/or placing an order on the webshop, by telephone or e-mail you confirm that you have read the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, and that you accept these. Please make sure that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions before you place an order. Please note that products in your shopping bag are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers until you have placed the order at checkout and received the order confirmation email.

 

  1. ORDER CONFIRMATION

After submitting your order, we will send you an order confirmation email with your order number, details of the product that you have ordered from us, your payment details and delivery details. Please note that the confirmation email is an acknowledgement that we have received your order and is not an acceptance of the order.

 

  1. ACCEPTANCE AND SHIPPING CONFIRMATION

Please note that all orders, placed by you, are subject to acceptance by us. We may, at our discretion, choose not to accept your order for any reason whatsoever without any liability to you. Once the order has been processed, a shipping confirmation email will be sent with all relevant information about your order. The shipping confirmation or pick-up notification is our acceptance of your order. If a product is unavailable, we will contact you by phone or email. If we have received the payment for the product, we will refund you the amount of the purchase.

 

  1. PRICES

The prices and delivery costs shown on the webshop include Danish VAT. The prices and delivery costs shown on the webshop may vary from time to time, and the prices may also vary between the physical stores and the webshop.

 

  1. PAYMENTS

The following payments are accepted on www.carite.dk.

A payment can be made by the following credit cards: Visa, Visa Dankort, Mastercard, VISA Electron and American Express. All prices on www.carite.dk are stated in DKK, EUR, USD and all include Danish VAT (25%). However, if you live outside of the EU, you will not be subject to Danish VAT. You may, however, be charged the VAT of your country upon delivery. If this is the case, you will be contacted by the delivery company in charge of your parcel. Please know that this can delay the delivery, as the goods will be held back by customs until you have paid the taxes. It is your responsibility to contact the delivery company and pay for these extra costs. Goods sent from www.carite.dk cannot be sent as a gift to other countries outside of the EU, as an attempt to avoid paying local taxes.

All purchases made with credit cards are verified by a secure code, and all communication between our payment system and the cardholder takes place via an encrypted SSL connection. You may also be subjected to 3D secure before you can finalize the order. On www.carite.dk, we do our best to make the webshop as secure as possible.

You can also pay via MobilePay.

 

 

  1. DELIVERY

We offer different shipping methods to meet your needs, which are further specified at our check-out. We offer free shipping on orders above DKK 399. We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-3 weekdays (does not include public holidays). We offer delivery to parcel shops, home or business with GLS.

When the shipment has left Carite, you will be able to track your order via the link in our footer.

 

 

  1. RETURN POLICY

Please read our return policy before returning your item to make the process easy and as fast as possible.

At Carite, we only sell goods under the Carite brand name. All returns should be handled in the following manner.

If the item is not as expected upon delivery, and you wish to return it to Carite, you have a 14 days full return policy from receipt of your order. The item must be returned in the same condition as delivered and unworn with all Carite hang tags still attached to the garment. Returns that are damaged or returned without our labels may not be accepted as a return and will be returned to the sender.

If the item is damaged upon arrival, you can return the item to us and we will exchange it for a new item. In case the item is damaged, we pay the return costs back to us. Please, do not hesitate to contact us for more information here: hello@carite.dk

Carite does not provide a return label, and you must, therefore, pay for return costs back to us. We have decided not to pay for the return costs, because we believe that fashion must not be overly consumed and a purchase should be thought about thoroughly before being placed by you, as a customer on www.carite.dk. We hope that you will consider this before you place the order on www.carite.dk, so you will not have to endure the return costs, the hassle of returning the item and help provide a more sustainable consumption of fashion.

Should you wish to exchange an order for another size or item, we ask you to return the item and place a new order on www.carite.dk.

When your item has been received and returned successfully, we credit you the amount back through the same payment method used, when placing your order. Please note that refunds can take up to 14 days to handle and to show in your account due to longevity of the shipping back to us, internal processing and differences in payment providers. If you have not received your refund within three weeks, please do not hesitate to contact us at  hello@carite.dk.

 

  1. GUARANTEE

Carite acts in accordance with applicable consumer regulations. Please contact us, as soon as possible, after receiving any defective products.

Copyright in the documents and images provided by www.carite.dk are owned by or licensed to Carite. You are authorized to use this material only for personal or non-commercial purposes.

Carite uses Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the industry standard in transferring information to process your orders. Carite’s webshop secures communications by encrypting all data to and from the site. For security reasons, we do not store any payment information in our database.

 

  1. INFORMATION ON THE WEBSHOP

Carite cannot promise that the content of the webshop is free of inaccuracies or typographical errors. Neither, can we guarantee that all information is up-to-date. Carite may, at any time, amend the content of the site. Although Carite strives to display the correct texts, images and pricing on the site and webshop, errors may occur. Part of the services provided through the site are maintained by third party operators. In situations where Carite acts as agent for such services, we cannot be held responsible for any errors resulting from their activities. Carite cannot be held responsible for any damage caused from using the site or, for that matter, not being able to use the site. Carite cannot guarantee problem-free, uninterrupted and secure access to the site.

 

  1. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the Danish Law (excluding the international sale of goods act). Any disputes pertaining to these Terms and Conditions will be exclusively referred to the district court, as the court of first instance.
